Hi guys!
Next week is going to be pretty busy for me as I get ready for the wedding of one of my closest friends. I’m sure I will be running around doing last minute tasks in order to be prepared for her big day.
With that, I am planning some easy meals for next week.
Here is what I will be eating…
Monday
On Monday, I plan to make tacos. This is one of my husband’s favorite meals. I love that it’s so easy. He likes to eat his tacos with a shell, but I build mine without.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. lean ground chuck
- shredded lettuce
- chopped tomato
- shredded cheese
- taco shells (if desired)
Seasoning:
There are a ton of taco seasoning recipes out there, but this is what I’m using.
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- black pepper
- sea salt
Directions:
- Mix all of the seasonings together to make seasoning used for tacos.
- Brown hamburger meat in a skillet. Once cooked all the way through, drain any grease.
- Add seasoning mixture to the browned meat and pour 3/4 cup of water in the skillet. Mix everything up and let it simmer for a few minutes.
- Build your tacos and enjoy!
Tuesday
I will be making sauteed chicken with a little bit of soy sauce for dinner on Tuesday. I like to add fresh garlic to my chicken as well as whatever seasonings I have the taste for at the time (usually onion powder, garlic powder, sea salt, pepper).
I will also saute a zucchini with a sprinkle of sea salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.
Wednesday
Tonight I will be making Oven Baked Tilapia with Steamed Broccoli. I am also going to make Cheddar Bay Biscuits (like they have at Red Lobster!). This is not a very healthy meal but it is so delicious and it’s been a long time since we’ve made it.
Click HERE for the Oven Baked Tilapia recipe and click HERE for the Cheddar Bay Biscuits recipe. I found both of them on Pinterest.
Thursday
On Thursday, I will be making Lime Cilantro Chicken. Most of you know I make this recipe pretty much every week. Check back to one of my other weekly meal plans for the recipe.
Friday
Keeping things light on Friday with some basic grilled chicken and green beans. I will season the chicken with whatever seasonings I have a taste for at the time.
Saturday
You’ll notice that I don’t have anything listed for dinner on Saturday. We will be at a wedding. 🙂
Sunday
Since we skipped our Steak Friday, we will be enjoying some steaks and steamed broccoli on Sunday for dinner.
I hope you all have a great week!
